For my 2019 Senior year internship, I decided to intern with financial advisor of Dorsey and Company, Skip Chatelain. I originally chose to intentionally with a financial advisor because I've always been interested in how to handle money and how to make more. On my first day, I worked with Mr. Skip and many other financial advisors as I was taught the basics of the job. Dorsey and Co. is not a very large company while it has around 30 employees. Everybody I met today was very friendly and made me feel welcome to the company. One thing fun I was able to do today was join in on one of the weekly Monday sales meetings to discuss the previous week's work. In reference to the picture on the left, I am sitting in front of two computer screens with graphs of previous stock action for the largest stock company currently, DOW Jones. I worked with Skip and another employee to observe the recent changes in stock history and gave my opinion whether or not I think they should invest. Overall, I enjoy the experience so far and am looking forward to the next couple of weeks. Monday, May 13, 2019

Sounds like you had a great first day, Brandon. How exciting to get to sit in on their weekly meeting. I'll be interested to see how next Monday's meeting will go after you've been there for a week.
