i chose to do my internship at oschner physical therapy with my my physical therapist Tate Aucoin.
The reason i chose this particular job as my internship is i spent almost 10 months in physical therapy and became really close with all the members of the staff. for most people they dreaded going to pt but i loved it. It made me feel like i was having a great recovery and that's what i want to do for someone one day. being an athlete it can be hard not playing your favorite sport so having someone who makes it better always helps. my first day Tate and I walked around met a bunch of the patients and learned what was going on with them and why they were there. Then we went to a meeting with all the Physical therapist in that department. I sat in on the meeting and learned how they all talk to each other to better their exercises they do for their patients. i learned through my first day of being there that there is a lot of sittign around while waiting for their next client.
