Ethan Everitt Post #2

on my last day of my first week i spent the whole day learning about what classes i need to take to get closer to major. we talked about how long PT school was. Tate and I talked mostly about how my therapy had impacted me as a person and that i need to use that as motivation towards my drive to do well in school. right before lunch our last patient was a young man who had a similar injury as i did when i broke my femur. Tate suggested that i go talk to him and give him some advice on how to have a healthy recovery and help know that it will get better. While talking to him some of the other workers gathered around me to listen to what i was saying. After i was done at lunch many of them came up to me and said that i was a natural at talking to people about how to push through the hard times and to trust your therapist. they said m ost of their patients would do so much better if they could have someone like me to help them get through the recovery. I would be very happy if i could come back after going to school and work with these people they are all very entertaining and know what they are talking about. i want to help athletes get back to normal health and i want to do it with the help of these workers.
