Nigel Tatum Post #4
Today there was an event in which the entire school participates in. Its called Don Quijote day. It takes place on the school's field. Theres a water slide, bouncy house, and even a karaoke station. At the end of the event, the 8th graders receive a good bye from the entire school. Everyone makes a line that goes in a U-shape around the field and each 8th grader walks through it. I helped set up and work the karaoke station. After this I will also help with last bits of graduation preparations. Throughout my internship here at Trinity, I have felt this was a fun experience. I was able to see how much it has changed since I've left four years ago. All of the special days these kids have all the way to graduation was a great feeling, and it reminded me of how I was at one point. Being here was a great way to spend my internship also to further my knowledge of the admission process and also how it feels to have a regular everyday job. I am glad I was able to do this and take advantage of this opportunity.
