For the last couple of days I have been working with some of the students on their math work, and to hear them says “I finally get it Ms. Ellie!!” is the best thing. I am glad I chose to intern at a school because it has made me realize that I am certain that is the profession I wish to join after college.
The children in K-2 have been learning about the Middle Ages, and tomorrow (Friday 5/17), the classes will have a Medieval day where they will enjoys games, movies, and a middle age inspired feast. The students are beginning the morning by cooking at the neighboring houses around Country day and then will all join back at school for their games to begin. The children are so excited for tomorrow to show off their Medieval inspired costumes they will be wearing.
