Nigel Tatum Post #1

For my senior internship, I am working with as Advancement Associate at Trinity Episcopal School, with my supervisor Nydia Araya. Both yesterday and today consisted of helping out with a fundraiser called "Trinity Cares", in which the school promotes safety awareness and community building among parents and the community. I also helped out with putting out signs around near the school endorsing the cause. I also was given a lesson on the enrollment process for this type of institution, as well as helping organize archives. I definitely didn’t feel out of place or uncomfortable as I was very familiar with the location as a whole. I was given an alumni t-shirt, having graduated from the school in 2015. When I walked in yesterday morning, I got to re-tour the school and I was able to see some of my old teachers. It felt great to be back at the school again.
