This is the second week of work. I started to learn things and get handy with them so I was able to help more. I was only serving Chinese people who come to the restaurant because I was more familiar with Chinese authentic food(I ordered them every time I come to eat). This week I started to try to serve American and it wasn't that hard at all. Sometimes I would worry if I remember the dish they want correctly, like sometimes it's easy to mess up tuna roll and spicy tuna roll, but it turns out all good and I didn't get any trouble. I also got better with computer at the restaurant as I tried a lot last week. I was able to put in orders and print the receipts after people finished. the timing of giving check is so hard for me. I was only serving at most two table at one time and I had to watch when they finish and give the check. I can't imagine people serving 5 or 6 at one time.
The cook has been trying new dishes so luckily I ate so much different kinds of Chinese food. they would have 1 new dishes every week to see how people liked it and if they do they would add it to the menu.It is really creative for them to try new dishes and I was really happy to be the first one to try. I honestly liked every one of them but sometimes it also depends on the time to cook it.
